Town, Country, Aloha, Freestyle..... What does it all mean?
Town Style is slim and elongated. Usually about the width of the belt. Ready for that next big meeting or a classy dinner!
Country Style is full sized (credit card sized). Perfect for any occasion....up mauka (in the mountains), makai (ocean ) side, or just cruising with the ke`iki (kids).
Aloha Style? You already guessed it! Wearing our feeling on or waist .... and in our hearts.
Freestyle? Well... sometimes, the wood just wants to do it's own thing. You know that felling.
What belt size should I order?
As a rule of thumb your belt size should be 1-2 inches larger than your pant size/waist size. So if you have a pant size/waist size of 32 then your belt size should be a 34.
To measure this accurately you might want to measure your waist and/or a belt you currently own.
Waist Size (Not Pants size)
Small = 29-33 inches (74-84cm)
Medium = 32-36 inches (81-91cm)
Large = 35-39 inches (89-99cm)
Extra Large = 38-=42 inches (97-107cm)
How do I measure my waist for a belt?
Probably the easier way is to measure your waist where your belt will go. Simply:
- Put on a pair of pants at the height you would normally wear them;
- Thread a tape measure through the belt loops;
- Inhale so your waist is at the largest it will be; and
- Take the measurement
This will be your belt size.
Most belts come in a range of sizes. So if you measured 38 inches (97cm) for example you would go for an XL sized belt.
Of course there is a bit of leeway here. Our belts have 5 holes so you can afford to be a little bit off.
I already have a belt. Will it work with these buckles?
If the belt strap that you have has snaps in the back so that you can take off your current buckle, then Yes!! The buckles can accept belt straps up to 1.5 inches wide.
